Do you have a start up diskette error loading operating for win 98? Set up you bios to boot from floppy first. Place floppy in drive and restart. at Prompt- key in" scandisk c:" and press the ENTER key. Let's see if scan disk can do you some good. Then remove diskette and see if you can boot from "C" Good luck Lenny qfisheye View Public Profile Send a private message to qfisheye Find all posts by qfisheye #4 12-11-2006, 01:19 AM Kevin_gibson Offline Registered User Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: UK Posts: 1,483 Brand, One thing I forgot to ask, is the Hard drive detected in the PCs BIOS? If it isn't, try and auto detect it, if no luck with that then replace the HDD. __________________ Toshiba Accredited Laptop Technician Big world out there - softwaretipsandtricks have your answer www.google.com is your friend Happy to help with Windows 95, 98, ME, XP & Vista, Windows 7.
