I could stay with Firefox, but I'd error loading page jquery mobile href like to test my app on different browsers. Any suggestions? Anyway, try this $.mobile.changePage('page2.html', { transition: 'flip' }); –Omar Apr 12 '13 at 20:49 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote Download xampp. Install it and place your folder with jqm files(my_jqm_folder) inside the httpdocs file. Open xampp and run Apache server.(Be carefull, you have to close your skype first, because they use the same port by default. After you run Apache run your skype again tere ll be no prob.) Then go to chrome and type: localhost/my_jqm_folder/my_html_file.html share|improve this answer answered Aug 3 '13 at 12:50 Gr33nf0x 111 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Add rel="external" Go to page2 share|improve this answer answered Nov 24 '13 at 18:12 Isaac Meany 1 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Ema

Instead of using this: window.location.href = "/"; Use this: $.mobile.changePage('/', { reloadPage: true, transition: "none"} ); or if that doesn't work try this: $.mobile.changePage('./', { reloadPage: true }); That should fix it. If it don't then try this, overriding the default settings for the ajax loading error (not recommended but will hack fix it). $.mobile.pageLoadErrorMessage = ""; Docs: http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/docs/api/globalconfig.html $(document).bind("mobileinit", function(){ $.mobile.foo = bar; }); If that still don't fix it, maybe your using the file protocol? ref: http://doeswhat.com/2011/03/08/jquery-mobile-error-loading-page/ Meet the author Sam Deering Sam Deering is a Front-end Web Developer who specialises in JavaScript & jQuery.
