If I choose a RemoteApp source instead of RD conncection broker then 1 of my servers populates all the apps fine. If I choose the other host then it errors https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee891015(v=ws.10).aspx and says 'RD Web Access was not able to access xxxx. Verify that the RD Session Host server name was entered correctly, that the server is running and connected to the network, and try again.' All the servers are R2 and I can RDP to each of the session hosts fine.Amit MCSA 2003, VCP, CCA, MCTS:2008 AD Tuesday, September 29, https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/173d4546-e12f-47c1-ac66-8b4f69826892/remoteapp-source-not-working-from-rdweb?forum=winserverTS 2009 6:51 AM Reply | Quote Answers 9 Sign in to vote We use WMI to communicate with the RDSH server. Various issues can cause WMI to deny access or return error codes. Here's a few things you can try: 1. Check if the "TS Web Access Computers" security group on the RDSH server has incorrect permissions in DCOM and/or WMI: For checking DCOM security settings: 1. Start the Component Services MMC snapin 2. Navigate to Component Services -> Computers -> My Computer 3. Right-click on My Computer and select properties 4. Go to the COM Security tab 5. Under Access Permissions, click the Edit Limits button 6. Ensure that TS Web Access Computers is in the list, with all of the permissions set to “allow”. 7. Under Launch and Activation Permissions, click the Edit Limits button 8. Ensure that TS Web Access Computers is in the list, with all of the permissions set to “allow”. For checking WMI security settings: 1. Start the WMI Control MMC snapin 2. Right-click the WMI Control node and select properties 3. Go to the Security tab 4. Navigate to Root->CIMV2->TerminalServices 5. With TerminalServic

Solved Access issues on TS Web Access Posted on 2008-12-30 MS Server OS Windows Server 2008 1 Verified Solution 4 error loading Comments 8,662 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-21 Hello. I have migrated a client from a 2003 domain to a 2008 domain. We have: 2 DCs 2 Term Servers 1 TS Gateway 1 TS Broker Many thin clients and some PCs/laptops. Some home/remote users All of the servers are Windows Server 2008. Some are 32 bit, some are 64 bit. The domain mode is 2008 error loading the Native. All of the above servers are brand-new, w/ clean installations of the 2008 OS. The gateway and broker are the same server. The license server is the first TS. I have successfully setup and configured the TS Gateway and have several users who can connect to the GW and launch the apps. However, I have a few random users who cannot launch any of the remoteapps. They receive the following error: "Windows cannot start the remoteapp program. The following RemoteApp program is not in the list of authorized programs: Calculator. For assistance, contact your system administrator" Also, I used Calculator as a test. It doesn't matter if it's an Office app, utility, or RDP link. They all get the same error. Once I click the okay button, the session seems to try to continue to connect anyway, and then I get the window that says the connection has been lost. Other times, I get a small window with the Server 2008 logon screen. Some additional info: The site has a paid-for SSL certificate and is working properly (other users can connect just fine). System Making Incredible Software, Incredibly Simple RemoteApp’s Stopped Publishing? 20 June 2011 2 min read. So, you have followed the instructions, adding your Remote Desktop Session Hosts into the correct Groups, and Added your Remote Desk Web Access Server into the Local group of each of your Session hosts but for some ungodly reason when you check the event log on your Remote Desktop Web Access Server you continue to see errors. Looking at the error “RemoteApp and Desktop Connection Management” with Event ID 1010 is reporting an Access Denied to the WMI interface on the Remote Desktop Session host; however after tripped checking that the Computer Account for this server the is listed in the local security group “TS Web Access Computers” on the Session host and even rebooting the hosts, this issue will not clear. The RemoteApp Connection Management server, is simply trying to query the WMI database on the Session Host to see what Apps have been configured to be published, however for some reason these are not completing with an Access Denied. You can try manually also, but the results are the same. So, why? and how do we fix this. Well, apparently the WMI Database on the Session Host does not believe that the RemoteApp Connection Manager is permitted to run the query so simply reject’s the connection. Normally this would not be a problem as the security group “TS Web Access Computers” should have the correct access, but clearly this is not working. Lets check the WMI Database Access; Open the Server Manager and expand Configuration and then select WMI Control _on the Session Host machine. Next Right Click and select _Properties We will now see the WMI Control Properties dialogue. Next open the_ Security_ Tab and expand the Tree, to expose CIMV2 and then TerminalServices. Now select the node for TerminalServices and click on the Security Button Now, we should see our issue. The Local Security Group “TS Web Access Computers” for this node is not listed in the delegates, which explains why WMI is rejecting the conne
