I followed edonkey's suggestion on their website about how to set up the firewall to allow edonkey to work. Everything seemed fine and I turned off the computer that night. The next day I logged onto Windows and was greeted by the error box, "TCP/IP Transport not installed". My cable internet connection showed a low connectivity/no connectivity warning. This warning may have been purely coincidental to the edonkey install. So I uninstalled edonkey and rebooted. No change. Same error. I tried to do a restore system but it failed (said it could not restore) on every restore point on the computer (I am still baffled by why I can't restore). I then uninstalled SP2, thinking it might be the problem but I still had the same error. I was able to restore to what I had just done (i.e. SP2 was restored) and I deleted the firewall exceptions for edonkey I know the modem is working since I could connect to the internet via my laptop. I have a dual boot (separate hard drive with Linspire loaded on it) on my desktop. So to test the desktop's onboard NIC, I booted Linspire and was able to connect to the internet with no problem. To see if the Linspire was causing a conflict (since I had not tested it after installing SP2, but I can't think of why it would make a difference) I disconnected the second hard drive and rebooted to Windows XP. Still the same error. I uninstalled the NIC and rebooted. Still the same error. Short of reinstalling the OS, how do I install the TCP/IP Transport? I have tried the "netsh int reset" and it had no effect. I checked the TCPIP registry keys against what my laptop had and they were the same SO WHERE AM I GOING WRONG???? gravesgrg View Public Profile Send a private message to gravesgrg Find all posts by gravesgrg #2 10-13-2004, 04:17 PM pip22 Offline Registered User Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: United Kingdom Posts: 1,355 Control Panel - Network Connections. Problem is, the 1.9 graphics don't seem to load properly. I keep getting the red error message box saying the graphics are not loaded(error loading graphics). I didn't have this problem before switching to beta 2.0. The LongVehicles set seem to work alright, with the exception of certain vehicles accelerating then suddenly slowing down as if they drove into a bog. Can anyone help me solve these two problems?
