Here is my error message: There was an error running the selected code generator: 'Error loading type library/DLL. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY))' I've already checked other response. If I run as admin or none, same issue. I have another computer that hasn't this error with same OS + VS. If there is something to copy, I can do it. I don't find this exception in event viewer to see details (how?) (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80029C4A (TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY)). I saw this in our exception logs which we are using to publish errors. I checked for the above guid in registry and i found it. I delete this entry from the registry, as we have the same com+ component registered with different guids, so i though somebody not unregistered this com+ component from the last deployment and shutdown com+ and started again, not stopped the site. But some how the error is getting logged again. What is going on? I feel shomehow it is keeping the old reference in memory. Do we have to stop and start the web site. It is working fine in our DEVWEB and QAWEB regions, but now in UATWEB Region. Could somebody respond to this? Note:- (i) The original developer who developed above COM+ used Microsoft Active Server Pages Object Library inside the COM+ Component. (ii) The environemnts where it is working is having Microsoft visual interdev and Microsoft Visual Basic 6 been installed. I don't know whether these tools installation created something which allowing the above to work
