HRESULT = ....." If he only logs into SL and leaves the network log in under someone else he is fine. Only happens when he logs into the network then into SL on this particular computer. He can log into both the network and SL on other computers fine. What could this be?? It appears that the user has insufficent Windows permissions for the Dynamics SL directory. You can also compare network access rights between a "working user" and this "non-working user" Thanks, Chris SchackQueue Associates, Inc. Reply DanaSchantz DanaSchantz responde
various error messages due to the customization failure. "Fatal Exception occurred in VBA and was caught by .\vba.ccp at line 332" "Customization has stopped working because VBA Trim function not recognize" "System Message 20406 http://congruentdynamics.blogspot.com/2013/05/dynamics-sl-customization-failures-and.html - Error loading VBA project" You may try the below steps. Locate the APC folder (C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Dynamics SL\APC). By http://www.microsoftdynamicsforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=473 default the APC folder is hidden due to some security reason. You may need to enable the visibility of hidden files / folders. Delete the swimapi.kpr and swimapiex.exd files. These files are responsible for the loading error loading of customizations prior to screen load. On launching the customized screen again, these files will be recreated. This may resolve the customizations failures in Dynamics SL. That took care of the first error message, now i get the following when trying to access customization mode (it happens on all screens including those without customizations) System Message 20402 A fatal exception occured in VBA and was caught by .\vba.cpp at line 81. Thanks again for your help in diagnosing this problem. Is it possible i have a corrupt VBA installation? How would i go about correcting that?
