Hello, I got a trojan virus and was able to delete it with McAfee. However, I am still getting the following error message at startup "RUNDLL c:windows\system32\calc.dll" "The specific module could not be found" How can I fix this?? Thanks Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top ispalten Posts: 6259 This post has been reported. I think this is STILL part of your virus infection, see THIS LINK. Remove the starting of it, either try using MSCONFIG from the START-RUN or search for it in the Registry. Irv S. 11 Nov 2009, 2:03 pmOk well at first I couldnt get past the BIOS screen and I was told to remove battery on motherboard to reset BIOS. So I did that and I got to the desk top very slowly. When the desktop came up a bunch of windows with safety center on them. When that finally stopped I was givin errors that read:the application or DLL c:windows\system32\calc.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation. So I clicked ok and it gives me : error loading c:windows\system32\calc.dll % 1 is not a valid win32 application. I was told to go to task manager and go to processes and try to find s_loader.exe but I couldnt find it in the list. Then I was told to download hijack and post log. But when I finally got the hijack loaded by using a usb stick it will not complete the scan and produce a log, it keeps freezing up the computer and I cannot continue anything. Can anyone help me?nature7827Rookie SurferPosts : 65Joined : 2009-10-25Operating System : windows 7 Re: malware possibly %sysdir%\calc.dllbynature7827 on Thu 12 Nov 2009, 6:15 amok well I finally got hijack to run and here is the log:Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 8:58:39 PM, on 1/1/2004Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v8.00 (8.00.6001.18702)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\WINDOWS\System32\wltrysvc.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\bcmwltry.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccSetMgr.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SNDSrvc.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SPBBC\SPBBCSvc.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccEvtMgr.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\AOL\ACS\AOLacsd.exeC:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\ALUSchedulerSvc.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lxdmcoms.exeC:\Program Files\McAfee\McAfee AntiSpyware\Msssrv.exeC:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\IWP\NPFMntor.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\New Boundary\PrismXL\PRISMXL.SYSC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exeC:\Program Files\Yahoo!\SoftwareUpdate\YahooAUService.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exeC:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NvMixer\NVMixerTray.exeC:\PROGR
