Step 1: Boot your computer with the help of Windows XP Disc (Try to use the error loading operating same disc, the one you use to install your previous OS). Step 2: when the installation wizard ask you these three options: Press 'Enter' to install a new copy of windows XP. Press 'R' to repair. 'F3' to quite. Select option number 2 "Press 'R' to repair". It will direct you to Command Prompt (DOS). And then just follow the instructions given that time appearing on your Display Monitor/LCD. Note: Default cursor location on prompt starts from C Drive "C:\windows>_", so be sure to change the cursor location to another Drive like D, E drives "D:\>_". You can switch the Drive by typing"D:" and press "Enter" or otherwise drive scan will not run properly. Step 3: Now when you enter into the D drive "D:\>_" type this command "CHKDSK(Space)C:" and press "Enter". CHKDSK (Check Disk) command will start scanning your drive and will fix the corrupt format problems by itself.
