Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now I have a Cisco 1131ag wireless access point that i need to reset to defaults and reconfigure to join a new WLC. on the AP, ive initialized ethernet and tftp, and configured an IP and subnet flash_init set IP_ADDR 10.0.3.118 set NETMASK 255.254.0.0 set DEFAULT_ROUTER 10.0.3.250 ether_init tftp_init I have a solarwinds TFTP server configured on my desktop, a second NIC with a straight through cable to the ethernet interface on the AP. Both are on the same subnet. The WAP Image is in the root tftp folder here: C:\tftp-root when i try to copy the file to the AP, i get this error: ap: tar -xtract tftp://10.0.3.175/tftp-root/c1130-k9w7-tar.default flash:
tftp://10.0.3.175/tftp-root/c1130-k9w7-tar.default: no such file or directory on the solarwinds log, it says: TFTP Connected from 10.0.3.118:1062 on 10/14/2014...binary, GET Transmission failed. Could not find the file "C:\TFTP-root\c1130-k9w7-tar.default". my firewall and AV software are disabled. I was able to save a WLC config via TFTP to the same workstation even with the firewall on (inbound UDP port 69 allowed), so i feel confident that the configuration is right. the file is in the TFTP root folder, but it says that the file or directory isnt there. Am i doing something wrong with the code in the AP? any help would be appreciated. im about to pull my hair out! Thank
