I have been trying to send emails to myself using mutt. I can send them to root but if I send them to my user account I get the following error message: Quote: Error sending message, child exited 67 (User unknown.). When I looked in /var/spool/mail/ I can't find anything with my username, so I copied one of the others that was there and changed the owner to my user and the group to mail. I don't know if this is correct or not and I don't know why I didn't have a file there already! I am only trying to send the messages over my own network, not to external email accounts. I can't find anything about mailboxes and how to create them or why I can get mail as root but not as my user Can anyone help? __________________ -- M$ cater for the lowest common denominator -- code_astronomer View Public Profile Find all posts by code_astronomer #2 18th February 2006, 06:29 PM code_astronomer Offline Registered User Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: England Posts: 470 aaaah...disaster!
