I've installed Subclipse, and it seems to be working fine. But, when I try to "add a new SVN repository", I input this: http://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-open-mirror and I get this: Error validating location: "org.apache.subversion.javahl.ClientException: RA layer request failed svn: unable to connect to a repository at url 'svn..' svn: OPTIONS of 'http://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-open-mirror': could not connect to server 'alfresco.com' Keep location anyway? I've checked it in both browsers(on computer and internal eclipse br) - both works What is the decision? eclipse svn subclipse share|improve this question edited Aug 6 '14 at 12:08 bahrep 16.2k85181 asked Aug 6 '14 at 11:41 vald 1115 I've Installed SVN Client Adapter, SVNKit Adapter, and SVNKit Library - still not working –vald Aug 6 '14 at 11:45 1 and also i've tried this one: Window > Preference > Team > SVN: select SVNKit (Pure Java) instead JavaHL(JNI) and i got the message: "Error validating location: 'org.apache.subversion.javahl.ClientException: svn: E170001: HTTP proxy authorization failed' Keep location anyway?" –vald Aug 6 '14 at 11:48 1 I've edited this file (server) like: http-proxy-host = 192.168.10.89 http-proxy-port = 3128 still nothing in eclipse>Window>>Prefr>General>NetworkCOnections i got Native Active Provider - i've tried manual and direct - nothing maybe i'm doing smth wrong 'cause i din't really understand evrth

Description dustin_mccartney 2009-11-24 00:48:49 UTC Description: Authenticating to Subversion (tried with https) using a user password containing either the ^ character or % character (not sure which) causes the authentication error validating location to fail. Expected: Subversion authentication with Netbeans should allow the ^ or % to be used in the password. Comment 1 dustin_mccartney 2009-11-24 00:51:26 UTC I forgot to mention... My username password for a specific Subversion repository I access contains both the ^ and % characters. I can successfully authenticate to Subversion using a web-browser (Firefox) and via the command line tool svn using this password which fails under Netbeans.
