To correct the error, check the following items: Make sure that the agent signer (agent owner) is listed in the "Run restricted LotusScript/Java agents" field on the Security tab of the Server document. Make sure the agent signer is not listed in the "Not access server" field, which denies access to the server. This field is also on the Security tab of the Server document. You can use the Domino Designer or Domino Administrator client to sign the database design elements, including agents, with a name that has proper access. In the Domino Designer, you select the agent and click Sign. For specific steps with the Domino Administrator client, refer to the topic "Signing a database or template" in the Domino Administrator Help. To determine who owns or last signed the agent, follow these steps: 1. In Domino Designer, open the agent. 2. Select the Key tab, and check to see if the "Run on behalf of" property is populated If the property is populated, then the agent runs on this entry's authority. If the property is not populated, then the agent runs on the authority of the signer of the agent. 3. Close the agent, and highlight it in the Agent view. 4. Select Agent > Design Properties. 5. The name specified after "Modified by" is the signer of the agent. Note: The "Run on behalf of" property was introduced in Notes/Domino 6.0. For prior releases, rely on the "Modified by" entry. If these steps do not resolve the problem, you can enable agent debug to collect more information by (1) entering the command "tell amgr debug" on the server console, or (2) entering the parameter DEBUG_AMGR=* in the notes.ini for the server. The debug output shows the name of the agent being run, in which database it resides, and the agent signer name. Note: Be cautious in using debug parameters. Some debug can impact server performance. Be sure to remove the debug when no longer needed. Related information Details on Debug_Amgr and Log_AgentManager Error: "Operation Is Disallowed in

When you enter http:// /stcenter.nsf or stconf.nsf into the browser, the following error occurs: Error validating agent execution access The log.nsf on the Domino server contains errors similar to the following: HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - Error validating user's agent execution access http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21208934 [/stcenter.nsf?Open] 8/24/2005 08:31:55 AMgr: 'Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products' is the agent signer of agent 'processStatistics' in 'stlog.nsf' 8/24/2005 08:31:55 AMgr: 'Agent 'processStatistics' in 'stlog.nsf' will run on behalf of 'Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products' 8/24/2005 08:31:55 Error validating user's agent execution access 8/24/2005 08:31:56 AMgr: Start executing agent 'purgeLog' in 'stlog.nsf' by Executive '1' http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21144847 8/24/2005 08:31:56 AMgr: 'Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products' is the agent signer of agent 'purgeLog' in 'stlog.nsf' Answer Known causes include: 1. The error occurs when the account which the agent has been signed with does not have adequate access to run agents on the Domino server. To troubleshoot this issue you must ensure that the agents in these databases (stconf.nsf, stconfig.nsf and stcenter.nsf) are correctly signed with the Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products account. Next, you must check this account's access on the Domino server. This setting is located in the Server document under the Security tab. The field "Run unrestricted methods and operations" must contain the Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products account. To check the agent server access in Domino: Open the Server document. Go to the Security tab Under the Server Access section, ensure that the "Sametime Development/Lotus Notes Companion Products" account has access to this server by adding them to the "Access Server" field (if this is not already liste
