Service event id 1530 with every remote desktop logout Windows Server event id 7011 > Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) Question 1 Sign in to vote I've been receiving User Profile Service event id 1530 registry file is still in use event id 1530 with nearly every logout from an rdp session. Our environment is Windows 2008 R2 64 bit running on Citrix XenServer 5.5. RDP isin remote administration mode. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947238 Tested with and without Windows updates applied. No additional printers added, no connection to a domain. Because the environment is virtual, I've been able to try many combinations and have narrowed it down to this: When Windows 2008 R2 has a single processor, the event does not occur. When I give the virtual server two processors, the event occurs https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/c725d773-4134-4452-8b77-e0976bb318d3/user-profile-service-event-id-1530-with-every-remote-desktop-logout?forum=winserverTS with nearly every RDP logout. Same results with or without XenTools installed.I do not have the resources to test the single/multi processor difference on physical hardware. Any insights would be appreciated. I've posted the full event as well as information about the process that is mentioned in the event. AB. Thanks.Image below. I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 2348Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 7 replies 1. Windows Vista does this when Windows Vista tries to close a user profile. In versions of the Windows operating system that are earlier than Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must install the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service (UPHClean) utility to have the same functionality. However, the UPHClean utility is incompatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Additionally, the UPHClean utility is not needed because this functionality is built into Windows Vista.Note Event ID 1530 is logged as a Warning event. When the work is done the system or service process is responsible for releasing handles it has to the user profile hive. If this is not done by the service as the user logs off the profile cannot be unloaded. This problem in code can be caused by improper coding either in Microsoft software or 3rd party software (e.g. p
