I have not found an application that fails to work with the Error occouring, however it is disconcerting to see DCOM errors. The fix for this is pretty simple; ** !Warning! messing around in the Component Services MMC can cause system instability ** 1. Open the Component Services MMC either by typing in the Run box "dcomcnfg" and pressing enter, or clicking Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Component Services. 2. Expand Component Services + Computers & Right click on My Computer and click Properties. 3. On the Com Security Tab under "Launch and Activation Permissions" click Edit Default... 4.
