It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Reboot the machine. I do not see any other event that could cause the DCOM to fail, not sure that could have been the reason for this. Any idea? It seems to be suitable for current scenario. Please refer to and check if can help you. DCOM programs do not work, and event ID 7031 is logged after you install Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) If any update, please feel free to let me know. Hope this helps. The culprits are Event IDs 10016 and 7031 (SyncHost) plus ID 10010, the server being the AUTaskHandler and the error coincides exactly with Windows Modules Installer Worker starting its task. Version is 10586.218, is this current for the Home version? Haven't gotten April's updates yet though Settings says up to date. W10 was installed not 10 days ago from a System Restore to W8.1. Looked everywhere else--nothing fruitful. Would this involve a registry modification(s)? Systems File Checker, malware scans and DISM scanhealth were negative. Help? Thanks! plat1098 Freedom really has its limits when there's no one sharing in it...Captured! Southside Johnny
