Join Now Hello all, I have a 2012 R2 VM as a RW-DC with this recurring DNS issue (2008 domain functional level). Rebooting or restarting DNS server service does not help. The odd thing is, we're on a 192.168.x.x network, and I have no idea what 10.3.0.1 might be. Any ideas? Will post EventVwr log if needed. Thanks.... EDIT: I can't ping 10.3.0.1 event id and it's not the IP of any NIC. Errors in EventVwr are 404, 407 and 408. However, this is a "secondary" DC, so I can't be sure without shutting down the P-DC. 0 Thai Pepper OP CrimsonKidA Nov 25, 2014 at 2:38 UTC RobT64 wrote: The first thing I would do is check if there is a second, (or another unused), NIC in the machine. The NIC I'm using has a static IP set, but there is a "TAP-Windows Adapter V9" NIC, which I believe is an ISATAP (IPv4 > IPv6 tunnel) adapter. I have disabled this and seen no difference and it does not have the 10.3.0.1 address, but rather an APIPA (169.x.
