Thread Status: Not open for further replies. Advertisement HandleX Thread Starter Joined: Mar 18, 2006 Messages: 388 This is the snapshot stating the event for a certain zone. This is showing the properties of certain IPs located in the zone that is having the issue. Stemming off my "Network Issue" thread, I've decided to close it because that was the issue was found and now to find the solution to it. I've come to the conclusion that it is defiently a DNS issue. Here are some snap shots from our DNS Server with details DNS error events. Event ID is reading 6527. The MS KB doesnt offer much information, but after reading more into it. It seems it is a communication error between our 1 DNS and 2nd DNS Server. We have a Primary DNS Server (SCO Unix Server) and a Secondary DNS Server (Windows 2k3 Server). The windows server is PROPERLY setup for the DNS. However, the error is basically stating that at times it can not perform a zone transfer from the Primary DNS Server (not get data transfered to it). If you look above, basically sometimes we can get a good connection and sometimes we can not. The error specifies the zone that it can not perform a zone transfer too, and this zone in which we have a picture from - is the zone that handles our OUTSIDE (VPN) IPS and DNS. Does anyone know where to even start to look into resolving this issue?
