That object is also set as the frsprimarymember. I have found that this reference refers to a DC which was demoted and removed from the domain. What can I do to change the primary member to a different server and then remove any reference to the old one? Thanks January 27th, 2009 event id 12:59pm Hi Dooley, According to my experience, the event id 13562 happens on the DC in the case of the server metadata wasn't cleared up in the AD database even if it has been removed. This will occurs when the server is not properly removed from the domain, which results in the FRS connections object still exists in the AD database. This maybe the reason why all the servers in the event id 13562 group still appear to be trying to contact it and try to replicate the folder. However, YORKIE actually doesn't exist physically, which leads to the Evnet ID 13562. To resolve this, would you please perform the metadata cleanup to remove FRS connections of the old DC in the AD database? You may check the guide as following, hope it can fix the issue Clean up server metadatahttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc736378.aspx How to remove data in Active Directory after an unsuccessful domain controller demotionhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/216498 Delete a Server object from a sitehttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc738355.aspx Thanks and regards,Scorprio MCTS, MCITP:Enterprise Admin Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now January 27th, 2009 2:30pm Hi Scorpio, I have run the metadata cleanup already and it shows no references to yorkie. Yorkie demoted correctly but it seems like it's removal from the domain did not work correctly and the computer object was deleted from AD manually. The sysvol FRS is fine and yorkie wasremoved from this during the demotion. The FRS replica set it still exists in is another one (which is for replicating roaming profiles). Cheers Alex January 27th, 2009 3:08pm Hi ALex, Please check the explaination of the following article, which describes the Event ID: 13562 and some solution to it. Recovering missing FRS objects and
