The message for the 1827 event id 1105 one is: "CREATE DATABASE or ALTER DATABASE failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 10240 MB per database." I did some searching and this problem cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 10240 seems very common with the SBSMonitoring database. However, Error 1105 tells me that the problem is coming from MSSQL$SHAREPOINT, and the specific database is WSS_Search_TBI_SERVER (TBI-Server is the name of our server). I open SQL Server Management (we have SQL Server 2008 R2) and when I look at the database properties there's only 0.38MB available. So, to clear up some space I tried

Shrinking both the Database and the Files, neither worked. (I read somewhere that Shrinking only works if you have free space to begin with.) The solutions for people who have this problem with the SBSMonitoring database involves running a script, but it looks like it's designed specifically for the SBSMonitoring database. I don't know much at all about Sharepoint or SQL or Databases, but would I be able to just replace SBSMonitoring in the script with SHAREPOINT? Or are there any other solutions any one can think of? These errors don't seem to be causing any problems - I don't think we even use Sharepoint for anything that I know of. However, I would prefer to keep the 100,000+ daily errors from happening if possible. I only need data from some tables, but I need to examine the database structure to determine exactly what I need. This is the only use I have for SQL Server and I don't what to buy in big. I tried SQL Server Express to restore the .bak file locally and received the error: Restore failed... RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 1827) I am having difficulty determining what alternative approach or minimum license I need to purchase to get me past this database size limit. The database seems to be only marginally over the limit. I used RESTORE FILELISTONLY, HEADERONLY and LABELONLY commands to extract what metadata I could.
