Had to go manual on the geometry due to miTools not working. May be related? Is there a list of error codes somewhere to help diagnose? Thanks in advance Chas
 Michael Turnley 0 Advanced Member Members 0 64 posts Location:Melbourne, Australia Posted May 12, 2010 Hi Chas, It shouldn't be related to the miTools. I've responded directly to Jayne regarding the email about the "Split 1d-nwk polyline using xsec polylines" tool. TUFLOW must have a 'storage', ie a node area relationship, defined at both ends of a given 1d element in order for the model to run. The storage at the node is usually automatically calculated by TUFLOW based upon the data in the 1d_nwk table(s) and the options specified by the user. For example, the value entered in the "UCS" (previously Use_Chan_Storage_at_Node) field in the 1d_nwk table tells TUFLOW whether or not to automatically generate a storage at the node. The storage can also be manually specified using a node-area table. So the error is basically saying there is no node, ie storage relationship, defined at the particular location. Check that the UCS flag has been set to "Y", "T" or blank (please refer to the specifics in the Manual for the version of TUFLOW you are using). The 'external' 1d channel reference I'm assuming is due to the 1d channel being outside the active 2d model domain and/or being part of an external boundary condition? I not aware of a published error code list anywhere. I hope the above helps.
