Not all codecs are signed to load in a protected process and if they are not this error is generated. more on the protected process http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/install/drvsign/pmp-sign.mspx you should be able to ignore the error. Thanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. I have same drivers as those complaining, and not the error, so I'm not really sure. some ref; http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20120618012356036&board_id=1&model=P8Z77-V+DELUXE&page=1&SLanguage=en-us and: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/192460-constant-audit-failures-event-id-6281-a.html hope this helps, Ron. Once finished close the device manager clear the event logs completely and reboot See if the error stops. If it doesn't... I don't think its any kind of critical issue and its not a common problem either. What ever causes it is not well defined. You could try upgrading both the Realtek driver R2.71 which is what I am using http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&
