We cannot log in...get stuck at Welcome screen or event id 7011 windows 2008 r2 "Applying User Settings" for 30-45 minutes. At the same time, we get a flood of the errors shown below. It does not seem to affect currently connected users, but nobody else can connect. Our only option to recover is to hard restart the server.I have read LOTS of articles on Citrix, BryanMadden and elsewhere dating back to XenApp 5.0 and 32 bit OS that had this problem, and lots of people up XenApp 6.5, yet there does not seem to be a common fix. Has anybody had this problem recently and might have a fix for us to try?* Event Time: 01 Mar 2013 07:59:39 PM* Source: Service Control Manager* Event Log: System* Type: Error Event* Event ID: 7011* Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the CryptSvc service.* Event Time: 01 Mar 2013 08:00:09 PM* Source: Service Control Manager* Event Log: System* Type: Error Event* Event ID: 7011* Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the NlaSvc service. 1360-326241-1718602 Back to top Jeroen Baas Members #2 Jeroen Baas 205 posts Posted 02 March 2013 - 02:58 PM I have the Same problem. It looks like it's a very old

Categories: Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server 2008 R2 by Erwin Sometime ago we experienced a major log-in and printer (spooler) problem on our Windows Server http://www.eversity.nl/blog/2012/08/a-timeout-30000-milliseconds-was-reached-while-waiting-for-a-transaction-response-from-the-name-of-service-service/ 2008 R2 SP1 Remote Desktop Services farm. Once a while users reported that they cannot log-in, the log-in sessions hangs with a blank screen when loading their user profile. In the System event log of https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/76115-termdd-56-flood-of-service-timeouts-7011-brings-down-terminal-server-win2k the server on which the user is logging on the following errors are shown: Source: Service Control Manager Date: 27-4-2012 7:28:01Event ID: 7011 Task Category: None Level: ErrorKeywords: ClassicUser: N/A Description: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was event id reached while waiting for a transaction response from the Spooler service. …and after 30 (or sometimes 60) seconds, the same error only another service (in random order): A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the UmRdpService service. …and after exactly 30 seconds, the same error only another service: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the event id 7011 UxmSms service. etcetera, with the following errors: A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the Netman service. If disabling (new) user logins on the affected server and the user reconnects their session, they still get redirected to their session (which is still stuck at log on) on the problematic server. An administrator cannot reset this session. Users who are already logged in, before the above errors occurred, cannot print anymore. (Presentation Server) To meet the needs of home-based workers, field workers, and kiosk users, we decided to deploy a small Citrix XenApp (formerly Presentation Server, formerly MetaFrame) farm. On top of the many support related subjects I deal with, cleaning the server room was a day 1 topic. Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now For about two weeks now, we have been experiencing seemingly random lockups on our Terminal Server. The Server is running Windows 2008 x64, Terminal Services. It is primarily used for running MS Office 2k7 applications, as well as a terminal emulation (similar to PuTTY). Everytime this happens, there is a TermDD Error (56) which reads: "The Terminal Server security layer detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client." There are usually various application hangs before and after this event. One such example is "ID: 2, Application Name: Microsoft Office Access, Application Version: 12.0.6423.1000, Microsoft Office Version: 12.0.6425.1000. This session lasted 3034 seconds with 180 seconds of active time. This session ended with a hang." There is not any specific application that I can tell causes the event, there are messages like this for Excel, Outlook, and occasionally Word as well. This is followed by a flood of Service Control Manager Errors (7011). It ALWAYS starts with NlaSvc, followed by CryptSvc. These two alternate for a while, then other services start to hang/timeout as well. Error reads: "A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response fro
