Based on my test result, the driver storflt.sys was removed from the drivers folder after Window Server 2008 SP2 Beta (KB948465) installed. However, I didn’t receive

any errors in Event Viewer. I guess you may encountered some problems when installing Windows Server 2008 SP2. This driver storflt.sys is used by guest system to access the disk while on parent/host machine it is not used. The error message in the event log can be safely ignored and there are no functional side effects. Meanwhile, you can disable the storflt service to make it go away. To do so, please run the following command in an elevated command prompt: sc config storflt start= disabled Best Regards, Vincent Hu Marked as answer by DecE Friday, January 16, 2009 5:43 PM Friday, January 16, 2009 8:32 AM Reply | Quote Moderator All replies 0 Sign in to vote Is this on the host or on the guest? This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
