This happens at random times but mostly during the night while the pc is on but logged off. All the hardware has been switched (Network card, patch cable, wall outlet and switch. I have reinstalled Trend Micro. If Windows XP is joined to a Windows NT 4.0 domain: 1. Start / run / gpedit.msc / Enter. 2. Navigate to Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Public Key Policies. 3. Double-click Autoenrollment Settings. 4. Select Do not enroll certificates automatically. 5. Press OK. 6. Close the Group Policy window. I setup up an two tier ca on windows 2012 and configured Autoenrollment. So far i just have been testing with Windows 7 Client and i have no issue at all. I receive a certificate within seconds. But know i wanted to test this for XP Clients but couldn't get the certificate. Event Log shows Id 13. But testing with certutil -ping i get an error. certutil -ping on Windows 7 Clients is successful.
