Here's what I've done: 1) Ran MEMTEST v4 twice, NO errors 2) updated ALL drivers, from NIC, BIOS, video, to chipset 3) reinstalled XP but did NOT format Machine STILL crashes with BSODs. Before the reinstall I did see 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and a 'PFN_LIST_CORRUPT', both which appear to point to RAM problems. I even went back to use the original RAM chips but http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/xp-sp3-crashing-with-event-category-102-event-id-1003.145299/ it continues to crash. Should I attach the .dmp files/crash log as well? Here are the 2 errors; the 2nd indicates Symantec Anti Virus is being disabled. In your case the Broadcom Wireless driver bcmw15.sys was cited as the cause of your issue. Update the drivers. Sep 2, 2009 #2 waxdart TS Rookie Topic Starter many thanks route 44 i'll look into it. Was that information somewhere in the mini dump? I'm curious as I couldn't make ouit any useful information from my own admin tools... thanks WD Sep 2, 2009 #3 Route44 TechSpot Ambassador Posts: 11,966 +70 Delete. Double Post. Sep 2, 2009 #4 Route44 TechSpot Ambassador Posts: 11,966 +70 Do you have the Window Debugger installed? It takes this special tool to read minidumps. And, yes, the error code and the cause were listed in the minidump. Keep in mind that minidumps often don't give a probable cause other than listing Windows OS drivers and they are usually too general to be of much help. Sep 2, 2009 #5 waxdart TS Rookie T
