Solved Event ID 7023 Service Control event id Manager Posted on 2010-10-05 MS Legacy OS MS Server OS Windows Server 2003 2 Verified Solutions 6 Comments 5,229 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-10 I am getting the below error too frequently in Event Viewer, I am afraid this could not lead to a serious problem. First of all I am not using DHCP services to assign event id 7023 IP address to client computers. We are using Static IP Address in our network. This is an Application Server not a domain controller, before the same event type error was logged in Domain controller which I have rectified by right clicking on the DHCP Services and select properties then selected the tab Logon and change it NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService to Local System Account. But In Application server this could not working and now it is giving another Event ID i.e. 7001. I am not sure whether the DHCP Services is corrupted or there is any other issue. --------------------------------------------------------- Event Type: Error Event Source: Service Control Manager Event Category: None Event ID: 7023 Date: 05/10/2010 Time: 10:12:11 AM User: N/A Computer: XXXXXXX Description: The DHCP Client service terminated with the following error: Access is denied.
