But as mentioned, in the error you also get w3wp.exe so you can narrow down this to an IIS error, so if you only have event id 1000 a ntdll.dll error then try to narrow it down further. In this case i downloaded the DebugDiag Tools. 2) I configured the DebugDiag Tool following these instructions in this post . I didn't need to install WindDbg and Symbols.
