No explanation, no apologies; just a message bluntly telling you that your data is gone for good and that you’d better have a backup. I was event id able to complete configurtion and shared drives and folders. This app requires for the stations to run to be mapped to the apps main folder. I was able to do all the mappings and run the app flawlessly, but inside the apps main folder there is a folder that holds scanned documents for many clients(about 2Gb of images) . Whenever we try to access or browse that folder (either by browsing thruogh the event id 50 mapped drive or by the app) , the computer losses conection with the server . Actually when this happens it is the server that becomes blocked and cannot be accessed through the network, also it losses conection to the internet even though that network connection shows as connected. The whole situation is not recoverable until we do a server restart. I was able to capture the event log at one of the stations affected:Event Type: WarningEvent Source: MRxSmbEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 50Date: 12/8/2008Time: 11:04:24 PMUser: N/AComputer: TEREDescription:{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \Device\LanmanRedirector. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere. For more information, see Help and Support Center at »go.microsoft.com/fwlink/ ··· ents.asp.Data:0000: 04 00 04 00 02 00 56 00 ......V.0008: 00 00 00 00 32 00 04 80 ....2..0010: 00 00 00 00 0c 02 00 c0 .......À0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........0028: 0c 02 00 c0 ...ÀWe use to carry this app on an older W2K server without any problems, but had to upgrade to a faster and spacious server.
