All users have the same issue of when they execute different functions within Word 2010 the application randomlyFaults and they lose their work or a partial recovery is done on event id 1000 excel 2016 restart. I have troubleshot this issue for that long and cannot find a fix. I have tried wiping a computer and running only Office 2010 Standard, disabling all Add-Ins. I first noticed a problem with Word, then Outlook followed in by doing the same thing. It just says "not responding" and can't be interacted with. This is almost a brand new, very clean Lenovo factory installation of Windows 7, with only the Lenovo preloaded software, http://superuser.com/questions/394696/office-mostly-word-keeps-crashing-on-windows-7-lenovo and then Office 2010 installed by me afterwards. I did a virus and malware and spyware scan, which had no results. I also repaired Office, and when that didn't work I completely reinstalled it, which didn't help either. Word will crash right in the middle of something, and won't let you save or do anything other than close it. This happens every hour, or sometimes even more. I'm looking for any suggestions more reasonable than "reinstall Windows 7". Did a windows update, no fix there. Several good suggestions there.... 0 Serrano OP Manish Chacko Jun 27, 2012 at 2:34 UTC Try starting Outlook with add-ons disabled and see if the crashes occur. If they do, check connection status after 58 minutes and watch it for a minute or 2. To check connection status, press and hold the "CTRL" key and right click Outlook icon in system tray and click on "connection status". You should see 2 connections each for Directory and Mail and one for public folders. Look at the Req/Fail column-if you see a lot of fails, then your network or Exchange connectivity is spotty. Also, if your profile gets corrupted enough, Outlook will crash. More steps to take: Repair your ost's and pst's Repair Outlook application. 0 Serrano OP Chris2741 Jun 27, 2012 at 2:44 UTC Thanks, I will get rolling with these suggestions. Starting with the simple /resetnavpane. No add-ins, by the way, are installed on this box. 0 Serrano OP Chris2741 Jul 2, 2012 at 12:39 UTC Resetnavpane must
