Filtering etc appears to be working fine but our remote sites (cisco site to site vpn) arent processing group policy at logon or when forced. The DC is SBS 2003 and the three sites are on different subnets but all can see the DC, browses its shares etc and can resolve all names. RDP and VNC all work both ways too. Im getting the following error in the Event viewer or the remote machine Event Type: Error Event Source: Userenv Event Category: None Event ID: 1054 Date: 22/09/2008 Time: 6:34:28 p.m. User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Computer: ATCDT10 Description: Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (An unexpected network error occurred. ). Group Policy processing aborted. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. All of the remote machines have had the force Kerberos to use TCP hack and this is also pushed out by group policy if its not manually applied before joining the domain. If i take UT out everything works again. 09-22-2008,10:56 AM #2 tbelote Master Untangler Join Date Oct 2007 Posts 320 Are Untangle and your remote client systems using an AD server for DNS?
