If this is a Win7 machine you need to: - right click "Computer" and select "properties" - on the navigation page (left side) of the new windows, click "Advanced System Settings" - On the new window - under the "User Profiles" section - click "Settings" ** Backup all user profile folders in case you are human and hose something.... - highlight the user profile you are having problems with and delete it. The next time that user logs in they should get redirected folders if everything in Group Policy is setup correctly. 1 Ghost Chili OP Kelly Armitage Jul 23, 2014 at 1:47 UTC My guess is an invalid path or more likely, improper permissions set on said path/folder. Here is a quote from another article" "Event ID: 1085 source: Userenv means: The Group Policy client-side failed to execute. Please look for any errors reported earlier by that extension. From the description of error messages, we should focus on network access and security rights at first. If the folder exists, please check ACLs. Make sure the security permission is correctly configured. "The Group Policy client-side extension Folder Redirection failed to execute. Please look for any errors reported earlier by that extension.". The error message immediately before this is Event ID 111 and the error message is "Unable to apply folder redirection policy, initialization failed.". This is causing real problems because i think its related to another problem where he computers arent loading the user group policies either! This has really stumped me. Check that users have Full Control of their My Documents. Some users report problems redirecting folders since installing Windows XP SP3, but it's strange because I have deployed SP3 quite a bit now and haven't suffered from this problem Send PM 3rd March 2009,11:57 AM #3 ricki Join Date Jul 2005 Location uk Posts 1,548 Thank Post 20 Thanked 170 Times in 163 Posts Rep Power 58 HI Is this any help.
