We have about 20 DCs in about event id 2012 windows server 2012 10 Geographically spaced locations and they are all logging the same errors. These servers are not necessarily the same but most are HPs. The whole network is running on1Gb ethernet.I am highly doubtful https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2885205 that this has anything to do with NICs failing. but it might as well be true. How can we read the status code in the data or can we use Network Monitor to see the issue if it is stemming from the network. I have disjoined and rejoined several clients on the network but the problem stays on. The client will still log errors as well. http://forum.sysinternals.com/event-id-2012-error-transmititing-and-recieving_topic19973_page2.html Iam thinking that the servers might not be coping and there are some fine tuning parameters that needs to be in place. molotov Members Profile Send Private Message Find Members Posts Add to Buddy List Moderator Group Joined: 04 October 2006 Status: Offline Points: 17526 Post Options Post Reply Quotemolotov Report Post Thanks(0) QuoteReply Posted: 14 August 2009 at 11:50am The status code is found in the data associated with the 2012 event. So at this point Iam trying to make sure any possible warning in the system needs to be checked out. I specifically went for this one becaus

Now This server has been in action for around two years with no issues, the last couple of weeks I have been getting this error repeatedly - "While transmitting or receiving data, the server encountered a network error. Occasional errors are expected, but large amount of these indicate a possible error in your network configuration. The error status code is contained within the returned data (formatted as words)and may point you towards the problem." This server runs Sage Line 50 for the network and the users are experiencing locks ups and freezing on a regular basis throughout the day. I have had Sage checked and there's no issues there. I have researched this till I'm blue in the face, I have tried everything people have suggested such as: Remove and re-add the network card Get the latest drivers for the card Disable IPV6 Disabling Large Send Offload Disabling RSS Disabling Chimney Offload Can anyone give me any ideas how to fix this please before I pull my hair out, thanks in advance. But i see all suggestions from KB can't help... I am intrigued Wait solution or failure cause.. 0 Pimiento OP Keith Bath Apr 17, 2012 at 4:09 UTC Thanks for the reply guys, Vee I have changed the Cat 5 cable and changed the switch port, not had chance to clean the terminals yet, maybe try that when I get chance. Dmitry, checked the solution but it doesn't provide any answers, there is no IPX or Btrieve on the server, I have installed the latest NIC Drivers and reset the switch all to no avail. This is still causing a lot of grief, it seems to be an issue with server 2008, checking the web a lot of people experience the same problem. Anyone else have any ideas? 0 Pimiento OP senjoy Nov 21, 2013 at 9:
