You may have an incorrect device driver installed for the CD-ROM device. To resolve it, please delete UpperFileter and LowerFilters in the following registry entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class/{4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} Here https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/adcde148-890f-4bc7-86ed-86624dde1633/error-event-7026-cdrom?forum=w7itprohardware are detailed steps: 1. Click the Start Button, type regedit in the "Start Search" text box and then press ENTER. 2.
