Monitor an unlimited number of servers with $49/year With the current low prices for servers and the need for processing power, even a small company may end up with quite a few of them. If ten years ago it was still http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-1000-source-Application%20Error-eventno-1475-phase-1.htm common to see an entire company using just one server, these days that's no longer http://www.realgeek.com/forums/faulting-application-svchost-exe-version-5-1-2600-5512-a-467487.html the case. New computers are added to the network with the understanding that they will be taken care of by the admins. Keeping an eye on these servers is a tedious, time-consuming process. I have McAfee running all the time; I've run scans, I've run Adware; I've run chkdsk; I even backed off SP3 and reinstalled it - all to no avail. The error dumps fill up my HD requiring me to delete the files periodically. Also, explre runs VERY slow when I open a folder for the first time. I have an ACER Aspire 5000 notebook w/ AMD Turion and 1.2GB memory. I have a ton of error msgs in event viewer. It appears that a new one is created even when I'mnot doing anything. Below is a sample. Please help. -Tom Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event Category: (100) Event ID: 1000 Date: 12/29/2008 Time: 9:59:40 AM User: N/A Computer: ACER Description: Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.5512, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00cb96bc.
