The event viewer records it every time as: 'source: save dump; category: none; event ID: 1001; description: the computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xb7dbbbf2, 0xab1398e8, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini030310-01.dmp' When the anti-virus scan (AVG9.0) I have scheduled for 8am every day scans there is no problem, but when the scan scheduled for 10pm runs, it crashes every time. When i disable the scan at 10pm, it doesn't crash. It will also crash when i attempt to run an anti rootkit scan with AVG. I've scanned my entire PC with Spybot S&D, and it

Memory management issues can be one cause, and adding additional RAM commonly will resolve this version of the problem.
