The event contains a summary of the report's signatures, Windows Error Reporting bucket information, and other fields that describe the state of the report. This event is logged in the Application event log. Event 1001 is logged at any time the report transitions state (that is, goes to the queue and comes out of the queue). Thus, it is possible to see multiple 1001 events for the same report. The following table explains the event message contents. Viewer Keep getting this event 1001 fault bucket about one time event id 1001 windows server 2008 r2 per day and I've found little information about it on google. Also posted on the official Microsoft forums event 1001 bugcheck with little help. No idea what is causing this problem since the problem signature information is so cryptic. The error is logged about one time per day but http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/3116.event-id-1001-windows-error-reporting.aspx I don't notice any instability issues as a result. It bugs me that this keeps happening and I'd like to fix it. I'm using a asus g750jx which I upgraded to windows 8.1 from the windows store. I have received no BSoD and don't have system instability issues so far. I stress tested the system for about http://www.eightforums.com/general-support/39650-strange-fault-bucket-windows-event-viewer.html 24 hours running prime95 and battlefield 4 with no errors. Ran a few passes of Microsoft Memory diagnostic for about 20 hours. Ran Memtest86 for about 18 hours. Play bf4 on ultra settings without issues. Checked system temperatures & voltages without issue. I'm running the WHQL windows 8.1 drivers and have been watching event viewer like a hawk but this annoying error has me stumped: Fault bucket -824565334, type 5 Event Name: AEAPPINVW8 Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: 101 P2: 2 P3: 6.3.0.0 P4: 1033 P5: 68 P6: P7: P8: P9: P10: Attached files: These files may be available here: Analysis symbol: Rechecking for solution: 0 Report Id: b09aeac4-7cdc-11e3-bea8-d850e605b79c Report Status: 0 Hashed bucket: 6c3ac182050ca55d3e62cebf74de99f8 triggers AEAPPINVW8 crash 2013.09.13 in Windows 2012 | 9 comments Problem Each time Windows Automatic Maintenance (hereafter known as automaint) is triggered, the following message appears in the application event log shortly thereafter: Event ID 1001 from Windows http://lokna.no/?p=1435 Error Reporting. This happens on several of my servers. Analysis I know it is triggered by automaint only because it appears every night at 03:00, which is the time automaint is scheduled. I tried triggering automaint manually, http://www.eventid.net/display-eventid-1001-source-Application%20Hang-eventno-1629-phase-1.htm and the error message promptly appeared in the event log. The scheduled task that triggers the error is called Program Data Update, which is part of the Customer Experience Improvement Program. This is a task that event id collects information about software installations, uninstalls and such. Analysis so far show that this affects all of my Win2012 servers, as well as some Windows 8 and windows 8.1 clients, but it has yet to cause any adverse effects other than the error message. I have tried to figure out exactly what it is failing at, so far to no avail, but I post this as a pointer to others who wonder what is event id 1001 causing the event log message. I will update this post when and if I find a solution. Share this:FacebookTwitterLinkedInPrintLast edit: Tuesday, January 14, 2014Like this:Like Loading... Keep me updated. Reply BlackCat on 2013.12.06 at 12:18:47 I have found the exact trigger, it is the Program Data Update scheduled task, which is part of the Customer Experience Improvement Program. This is a task that collects information about software installations, uninstalls and such. So far, I have seen this error on every Win 2012, Win 8 and Win8.1 machine I have tested. I will update this post when I have gathered more intel.
