Solved Random XP crashes with Event ID 1003, error code 100000d1 Posted on 2006-04-25 Windows XP 1 Verified Solution 16 Comments 66,741 Views Last Modified: 2011-10-19 I've been getting random restarts (1-3 times per week) of my Windows XP system with Event ID 1003 and error event id code 100000d1. In researching this problem a number of people listed bad RAM as a possibility, so I ran Memtest86 overnight with no errors reported. I followed the instructions in a previous post on this site and created a debuglog.txt file from the output of the minidump file with symbols. It is attached below. Any idea what my problem is? Regards, Danny Cecil Opened log file 'c:\debuglog.txt' 1: kd> .sympath srv*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols Symbol search path is: srv*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols WARNING: Whitespace event id 1003 at end of path element 1: kd> .sympath srv*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols Symbol search path is: srv*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols 1: kd> .reload;!analyze -v;r;kv;lmnt;.logclose;q Loading Kernel Symbols ....................................................Unable to load image nv4_mini.sys, Win32 error 2 *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nv4_mini.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nv4_mini.sys .......................................................................................
