I have done as instructed. but I do not see prefnet. I did find and disable netlogon. but prefnet will not stop. will keep lookin but even microsoft site will not help. theonering, May 24, 2006 #3 Dan O Joined: Feb 13, 1999 Messages: 8,974 Try searching the Windows Register and delete any reference to it, but before doing so make a new System Restore point so you can recover if need be.
