(yes, 2002 is still working fine for me and http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-2000-2000i-2002-archive/autocad-2002-on-windows-7/td-p/2674090 I'm too cheap to upgrade to a newer version) Everything has been working fine for several weeks until last night, the AutoCAD Today window that I have been just canceling when going into the program, I allowed it to run its ActiveX, thinking it would streamline getting into AutocCAD. Big mistake! AutoCAD will no longer open on the machine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software http://www.cadeverything.com/help/showthread.php/5952-FATAL-ERROR-Unhandled-e06d7363h-Exception-at-76a5b727h several times, I have restored the system to several days earlier to try and undo what I did, and then have uninstalled and reinstalled AutoCAD again. No luck at all. Any suggestions on what to do? My question: Is the version of Win7 that you are running also 32-bit or is it 64-bit? What version of Win7 are you running by the way? Is it Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate or other? It is working fine on my old XP desktop. I installed AutoCAD on the new laptop and have been working with it to make sure everything

Try to uninstall the updates 2You can have this error if you use USB drive in previous sessions and dont use it in current. Try to use a USB drive in place, and AuotCad opens fine. It doesn't have to be the same USB drive, Windows just has to have the drive available Good Luck Posted on Jan 17, 2009 Helpful 2 Not Helpful Comment Flag You can't post conmments that contain an email address. × Comment Anonymously Video Images Antonio Buenafe Jr. Level 3: An expert who has achieved level 3 by getting 1000 points All-Star: An expert that got 10 achievements.
