I was mistaken when I said that Service pack one was installed. After I applied the service pack the user no longer gets autocad fatal error a fatal error. Thanks for all of the help. Comments See all(0) Add comment Anonymous 0 August 16, 2011 This is almost certainly because THAT user does not have all the autocad components, like libraries, installed on his local system -- so autocad is looking to REMOTE connections like the server to complete its libraries. There is nothing intrinsically WRONG with this, a lot of autocad installations rely on libraries being gained from a server of some sort. If you want to avoid this in the future, consider installing ALL autocad components locally on his system. You could clone the setup from another user, but you will find that in the registry, autocad is looking to some other computer for the modular components. The other way to solve this is to set a restore point, then run regedit.exe, and search the registry for all autocad entries, and MANUALLY change the paths to his local hard drive, than some network resource.
