The only real way to track it down is, if you can get it to happen repeatedly, open a support ticket through Autodesk subscription support, and work with them on it. As for the other problem, after you crash, you may need to set FILEDIA back to 1. Then you'll get your dialog boxes back. There are actually three "do it again" variables that C3D likes to reset: FILEDIA CMDDIA ATTDIA FILEDIA seems to get reset in about half of C3D's crashes. The others are rarer, but at various times, I've seen all three of these reset to 0 after C3D crashes. The easiest thing to do is to add lines to your ACAD.LSP or ACADDOC.LSP file that set these values to 1, and you'll never have to deal with this issue again.
