The solution has been published in the Autodesk Support Solutions. http://autode.sk/15441ph Solution Fatal errors usually indicate a program corruption or a corruption with something in the operating system. There are several ways to address the problem. Reset the program: Click the Windows Start button. fatal error Click All Programs. Open the Autodesk folder. Open the AutoCAD Folder. In this case, it was the dreaded FATAL ERROR. FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at ef86cfch You will notice a login window above the error dialog box that indicates that this is a Desktop Subscription [aka Rental or META] product.
