They work fine with 2006 though. The fatal error message is "unhandled exception c0000409h exception at 61a19ebah". Same message comes up consistently on the 2 machines we've been trying this on. I've tried just about everything I can think of to get the files to work, no dice so far. Exporting, audit, recover, purge, purging regapps, saving down, checked object enablers & installed new ones... nothing has seemed to work so far. Any ideas? I've attached one of the problem children, would appreciate anybody's input on whatever is going on there. There was one line in the error report that looked funky, but I couldn't find anything solid on it. Here it is:

Every time he attempts to launch the application, he gets the following error: FATAL ERROR: Unhandled access violation reading 0x76b00044 Exception at 76b00044h" After the error pops up, he is kicked out of Autocad. Restoring his system to the last known good configuration fixes the problem but only for a few days and then the issue comes back. He is running Windows XP Pro SP2. Any help would be appreciated. 0 Question by:StarfishTech Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 1 Best Solution byjhungly Unhandled exception errors point to your .NET Framework. Try logging into the system with a different user account and see if the problem is a system specific issue or a user profile issue. If it's specific to that user, the quickest thing (most likely) is to have a new Windows profile created for this user as opposed to trying to fix it. You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the .Net framework. If you r
