Reply Contact Getting ready for the MC 5 'nod' tomorrow (hooray!) I have just copied the Attic and Project folders to a 'safe' location as suggested, and noticed a folder AvidFatalErrorReports.It contains 51 log and txt files. I knowI had something like this for Liquid, which automatically sent the (zipped up) files off whenever I connected to the Internet, but I have to say, I am not aware of any crashes or failures with MC. These may be 'internal' MC problems, I don't know (as long as it keeps working as robustly as it is, I'm not worried about it either). Point is - will these be sent when I (rarely) connect that machine briefly to the net, and whether yea or nay - can the 'failure' files be deleted? (I notice there is also an AppEvent log - wh

Typically I track down error reports through Google, etc. I can't find this one although I will continue my search. A) What is it? B) What would you do about it? It was fine for a while then it stopped capturing, showed the ACCESS_VIOLATION error message and just restarted my computer automatically. Now it crashes every time I capture! So what does this mean? What is wrong?
