Nov 15, 2008 - 11:54 PM Fivestar widget 12345Total votes: 0 So I'm new to programming microcontrollers with C/C++ and I'm having some trouble. The title is what I'm getting http://www.avrfreaks.net/forum/fatal-error-opening-file-depsecod-no-such-file-exists when i try to compile a piece of code. The code is extremely basic: all I have is two include files, the main body listed and a while loop listed within it (which is supposed to be the loop that runs forever in assembly) I'm running this on Vista(64-bit), with the latest build of AVR Studio4(623) and the version of WinAVR set to release about now (WINAVR-20081114rc1). The problem is probably so obvious that I'm missing it, and I swear the biggest obstacle for me learning is the first steps. After them first steps, I will probably be picking up the gist pretty quickly. And... Incidentally, I'm trying to learn how to program PIC32s with C/C++ at the same time (you're all probably cringing, but my work actually uses them religiously). So I was just wondering what the differences are between this and MPLab for the PIC. Technically, I have more experience with AVR Studio, but that's in the Assembly Language area. Hi there, Completely new to Ubuntu, and loving it so far. Have a bit of a problem compiling a programs GUI, the program in question is agbx360. So far i have managed to install the program itself with no problems, but i cant get past this problem and i am hoping someone can help me, because i really am not sure how to solve it. I did try to restart the system and try again to install the gui but with no success. I came across a command on the web, i think it was 'dist' or something similar but that did not help either. Here is what is says in the terminal: jay@DVL:~$ sudo apt-get install libwxgtk2.8-dev xterm [sudo] password for jay: Reading package lists...
