I have tried adjusting the .htaccess with no avail. thanks Log in or register to post comments Comments You currently have 64MB of ar-jan commented October 6, 2013 at 9:39pm You currently have 64MB of memory available for php, you should try increasting that to e.g. fatal error allowed memory size of bytes exhausted (tried to allocate bytes) in unknown on line 0 96 or 128 MB. In the php settings part of your settings.php, add: ini_set('memory_limit', '128M'); Or read more about increasing PHP memory limit. P.S. in general, it's useful to include information on what exactly you have already tried, in this case in your .htaccess. I originally went to sites/default/default.settings.php and couldn't find where the memory section was. I added and it worked. exhausted when clearing the cache Posted by Livios on November 29, fatal error allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted 2010 at 2:01pm Hi, After clearing the cache I get the following error in the Drupal admin: Fatal fatal error allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5916022 bytes) in /var/www/includes/theme.inc on line 1413 I increased the php memory limit to 128M which should be https://www.drupal.org/node/2106067 more then enough according to the information I found on the internet. I'm using the views and Drupal for Firebug module. When I disable the Drupal for Firebug module the error disappears. Since I'm using the latest version of Drupal for Firebug v1.3 and I don't find any information about memory issues when using the Drupal for Firebug module https://www.drupal.org/node/984188 I would like to know if the error can be caused by the custom theme I'm using ? The template page.tpl.php includes "print $closure" as required for the Drupal for Firebug module. Enabling the option to rebuild the theme registry on each page is more taxing on memory. You may also find you'd prefer to clear your cache/theme registry manually when needed (when adding new template, preprocess function, etc.) rather than enabling this option. https://drupal.org/requirements/phphttps://drupal.org/node/207036 Log in or register to post comments Comment #2 Christopher James Francis Rodgers CreditAttribution: Christopher James Francis Rodgers commented April 26, 2014 at 2:51pm Status: Active » Closed (fixed) @ Cottser: Well put; good job. @kalamityjane: I assume this is no longer an issue for you. In the case of my using "Acquia dev desktop" for "Local" Drupal use, the PHP limit starts out set at 256mb, and that makes me wonder if you had purposefully set your AMP-stack php limit to 64mb for some reason. I would recommend that you not set your limit above 128mb My online shared web-host only allows me a limit of 128mb with my standard rate plan, so yo
