the figures relate to where the error is in the data I believe. I have no idea what the solution is, I have cleaned my caches and imported db's from other backups, but I am still getting the error. The error can be made to 'go away' by adding the following to the .htaccess php_flag display_errors off But the error is still happening, but at least the user isn't witnessing it too. Here are some posts that also talk about this issue… the last 2 may have the answer, but the last post is so long I don't know where to begin. http://drupal.org/node/171662http://drupal.org/node/223705http://drupal.org/node/239332 http://drupal.org/node/40987http://drupal.org/node/40515 Drew Log in or register to post comments Probably just talking to drew reece commented June 21, 2008 at 11:30pm Probably just talking to myself at this stage, but incase you (or I) have this happen again here is what I did to solve it… Make sure php error reporting is on & notices is set to all. Obviously this is best done on a test server :) Find the line where the first error is occurring, for me it was line 390 in includes/bootstrap.inc. Print some of the variables using print_r(); to try to figure out what is being processed at the error stage. My problem was happening after clearing the cache with the devel module, and at line 390 in bootstrap.inc the ca

Code Questions drupal 7 and bootstrap.inc problem Posted by rramsey on December 29, 2010 at 6:20pm Hi, I am trying to move to Drupal from an old, custom CMS. I have a php script that https://www.drupal.org/node/211207 connects to the mysql database and gets the titles and bodies for all of the pages. What I want to do is iterate through the results and add them as new nodes. Unfortunately I'm getting two different kinds of errors. If I do this: https://www.drupal.org/node/1009966 require_once './includes/bootstrap.inc'; drupal_bootstrap(DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_FULL); I get this error message: PHP Notice: Use of undefined constant DRUPAL_ROOT - assumed 'DRUPAL_ROOT' in ./includes/bootstrap.inc on line 2094 PHP Warning: require_once(DRUPAL_ROOT/includes/errors.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in ./includes/bootstrap.inc on line 2094 PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'DRUPAL_ROOT/includes/errors.inc' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in ./includes/bootstrap.inc on line 2094 If I add in the specific path to the install like this: define("DRUPAL_ROOT", "/var/www/html/mydrupal/"); require_once './includes/bootstrap.inc'; drupal_bootstrap(DRUPAL_BOOTSTRAP_FULL); I get: PHP Notice: Undefined index: REMOTE_ADDR in /var/www/html/mydrupal/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 2597 PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/html/mydrupal/modules/dblog/dblog.module on line 144 PDOException: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1048 Column 'uid' cannot be null: INSERT INTO {watchdog} (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5, :db_insert_placeholder_6, :db_i

I http://drupal.stackexchange.com/questions/53034/bootstrap-inc-error-appearing-on-website began copying and enabling modules, and attempted to get the FlashVideo module working, along with making a few other changes all at once, so I'm not even sure where fatal error: to pinpoint the beginning of my problem. Bottom line, all I can see when I access my site is the following error: ---- Warning: require_once(./includes/bootstrap.inc) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/jason/public_html/index.php on line 12 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/bootstrap.inc' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/jason/public_html/index.php on line 12 ---- I was also having difficulty uploading failed opening required flash files after installing the flashvideo module, and so I changed file permissions in the files folder, but changed them back after the error to no avail. The error is being thrown on line 12 of index.php which reads: require_once './includes/bootstrap.inc'; I started looking around bootstrap.inc but I'm already in way over my head, and I'd like to not have to completely reinstall Drupal. One of the configuration changes I made prior to the error was changing the upload parameters in the php.ini file in the directory: usr/local/lib but I was really careful not to make any stupid changes. Another configuration change I made prior to the error was setting up a cron job, but I don't think that would cause a problem And still another configuration change I made prior to the error was installing the contemplate module Please help! If you flush your cache this should solve your problem.
