Any drupal fatal error allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted time I use the content creator and try to upload any files I got the following error "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20736 bytes) in /home/content/35/11382935/html/modules/system/image.gd.inc on line 237" I am joomla fatal error allowed memory size wondering how to fix this. I have tried adjusting the .htaccess with no avail. thanks Log in or register to post comments Comments You currently have 64MB of ar-jan commented October 6, 2013 at 9:39pm You currently have 64MB of memory available for php, you should try increasting that to e.g. 96 or 128 MB. In the php settings part of your settings.php, add: ini_set('memory_limit', '128M'); Or read more about increasing PHP memory limit. P.S.

in general, it's useful to include information on what exactly you have already tried, in this case in your .htaccess. I originally went to sites/default/default.settings.php and couldn't find where the memory section was. I added and it worked. Enabling the option to rebuild the theme registry on each page is more taxing on memory. Whether you have content is not the point because content will require memory allocated to mysql and data caching, whereas the problem here is that you have insufficient memory for executing php.
