Please find the steps I followed here: 1)Opened visio 2010,selected Database Model template and clicked on database Ribbon. 2)Selected Reverse Engineer. 3)On the reverse Engineer wizard, under set up selected Microsoft Sql server driver. 4)clicked on 'New'to Configure a new datasource.Selected System data source, selected Sql server driver, clicked on next, clicked Finish on next screen.Entered a name for data source and server name, clicked on next.Selected windows authentication . 5)checked all the checkboxes for Tables, views and stored Procedures,Slected all tables and views, clicked Finish. An message pops up -There is no text for object (followed by viewname) when i click on Ok.The same error repeats for multiple views. Then, the error shows up- 'Encountered a Fatal Error during Reverse Engineer of information from the database!' 6)when I click on Ok.. Only some views are showing. Thursday, May 3
