Does it occur encountered a fatal simply when you attempt to load the package with e.g. library(mirt) Or does it occur when running some code in the package? Can you provide a reproducible example? You might also try reinstalling the package + its dependencies, e.g. db <- available.packages()deps <- tools::package_dependencies("mirt", db)$mirtinstall.packages(deps)install.packages("mirt") You might also try running with the 64 bit version of R, rather than the 32 bit version. We're aware of the issue and hope to have a resolution soon; hopefully using 64bit R in the interim is a reasonable alternative!
